Hooded Merganser and Eel

Perfect focus is the key to this excellent photograph. The action in this photo tells a story in itself; the water droplets coming off the Eel's tail as it struggles to not be lunch and the all watching eye of the Merganser to make sure lunch doesn't get away.

I use to love to watch this duck and his mate in our lake years ago. Many would stop during migration. Beautiful shot! Thank you also for your wonderful comment on my Fruitman.
